Artist Statement
Construction Matters
Having been in and around construction for many years, I find the systems we use to build structures fascinating, comforting, fragile and fraught with danger. Each building is unique, and one can easily draw metaphorical parallels to ourselves and our lives. I swing between seeing the concreteness versus the abstraction of a structure.
